What if you could combine your passion for healthcare with the opportunity to share the love of Christ with those who need it most? Well I’m excited to share that I will have the opportunity to do just that! From January 2025 to May 2025, I will participate in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Mazatlan, Mexico. This five-month missions program includes three months of biblical training and two months of outreach. During the outreach phase, I’m looking to join YWAM Ships and embark on a vessel to serve isolated communities on the coasts of Mexico and the Pacific Rim with mobile medical and dental units. Our aim will be to preach the gospel, meet immediate health needs, and provide long-term training to local providers. I’m excited about this opportunity as I aspire to be a dentist and serve the global community through oral healthcare. My fundraising goal is $8,950. All funds will go directly to the mission trip and cover things like airfare, transportation, course materials, outreach phase costs, food, and housing.
